It’s time to elect the next Mayor of the Carousel!
Mayor Giraffe’s term is ending in May. He stuck his neck out for all the creatures great and small during his term. While the rest of the country may be contemplating the results of the federal elections, here in Nederland we are gearing up for the FUNNEST election you’ll ever be a part of.
Instead of voting for the lesser of two evils, you get THREE choices, and all of them are fantabulous and magical candidates! Meet the Candidates:
Dragon – a magical dragon that has decided shape a part of himself into a boat, so he can give a friendly ride to anyone who wants one. Learn More
Lion – often referred to as the “King of the Jungle,” this furry feline is also known to guard against evil spirits. Learn More
Pig – though pigs can have different meanings for different cultures, this particular pig symbolizes joyful flight, racing headlong simply for the fun of it. Learn More
