Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy in Colorado through online giving. Donations are accepted for qualified nonprofits through ColoradoGives.org.
Carousel donors of $150 and above will receive access to view Carving Joy, a short film about Scott Harrison, the artist behind one of Colorado’s most beloved attractions. In Carving Joy, Scott reflects on how this Front Range landmark began with a wind-up music box on the front lines of the Vietnam War.
Anyone donating to support the Carousel at this level also will receive a beautiful, hand-carved bird by the artist himself as a thank you gift.
